Business cards can be a very effective form of marketing and networking for your business and there are times when you should hand yours out to people. Many people make the mistake of being too conservative when it comes to passing out their business cards, and this can be a networking mistake, while others give out their cards even if people do not seem interested. There are some situations where handing out your business card just makes good business sense, and knowing what these are can help you market and network your business much more effectively.

Always give your business cards to new clients. Any time you get a new customer, take the time to have a conversation with them, and make sure to give them your business card in case they need to contact you. If clients are happy with your service they offer word of mouth advertising, which can not be bought.
